Career Winnings

The following tables are based on prize money and bonus money earned at the Boston Marathon (1986–2010). Prize money is awarded to the top 15 finishers in the open race and the top five finishers in the masters divisions. Bonus money is presented to individuals establishing a course record or world best. In 2007, additional money was awarded to the American women competing in the USA Women’s Marathon Championship, which was held within the Elite Women’s Start.
