Yemane Tsegay has finished second and third in Boston and is back for a win on the heels of finishing first in Fukuoka over Patrick Makau this past December. In 2015, he won the silver medal at the IAAF World Championships Marathon in Beijing. His nine career marathon wins include setting course records in Ottawa and Daegu.
Tsegay is from Hawzen, Ethiopia, trains in Addis Ababa, and is currently working with the management of Mark Wetmore and Global Athletics & Marketing.
